I think there's desire to attain annihilation of the two creatures. The behemoths are pitted against each other in scuffle of historical proportions. Godzilla has begun to ravage, devastating wherever it treads. Kong opts for a foray accompanied with those bestowing protection to him in the effort locate his true residence. Kong has attained tight relationship with a girl. The outcome of the showdown has implications to our world I surmise.
